Keeping Promises

While it made me feel very good to say that I would take five years worth of material and turn it into a publishable manuscript by the end of the week, that may not have been the most realistic deadline for me to impose on myself. And that must be whey I am here, on my blog, to procrastinate a little bit, but also to keep up another promise I made to myself: to post on here at least once a month.

This post may honor that promise but it's not one I feel very good about. You come to Misreader.com for the askance insights and charming public domain images, not for low quality, kicking-my-foot-in-the-sand excuses. So I'm sorry but like I said on Twitter, your blog is the blood sacrifice so that your other writing can live.
